Yoga itself is a resistance training workout, as we work to hold joint positions and keep our muscles under tension. However, when we add dumbbells to the mix, we can experience Yoga postures in a whole new way! This class will experiment with how many ways we can redirect forces into poses to get our muscles to activate and integrate in a whole new way!
Lauren will also show some variations with a Yoga Strap.
This creative Yoga class blends many different fitness modalities to build core strength and add muscle tone to the upper and lower extremities. Enjoy a vinyasa format with several bodyweight strength exercises and repetitive Pilates core moves using a Yoga strap and Yoga block as resistance.
In this workout, we are adding some fun and variety to your total body strength workout! Enjoy a variety of joint positions with a focus on core strength while using strict form and multiple repetitions of exercises to build muscle strength. This is a no-repeat flow format.
