Everyone has experienced tension in the body after many hours of sleep, being in a tight space, or repetitive activity. Many times, our tension is due to certain muscles that are overworking and others that are underworking. In this Yoga practice we will be working to balance muscle strength by comparing how we do poses on each side of our body. You will uncover areas of your body that are out of balance and learn how to strengthen muscles in such a way that we avoid passive stretching.
There is no equipment needed. I will be cuing to allow for modifications. All levels welcome!
