Live Event | Yoga Abs and Back with Lauren Eirk
Everything • 1h 10m
The practice of Hatha Yoga is centered around the health of the trunk and spine. In this practice, the stability ball is used as a prop to improve one's resisted range of motion for several spinal postures tha flex, extend, and rotate the spine. This is extremely helpful for support of vertebral joints and hips.
As we slowly move through this vinyasa style yoga practice, we will be incorporating dumbbells to add challenge to the trunk muscles and re-direct forces into the pose. Upon completion of this practice, you should feel stronger and less inhibited in your body. This class is open to all levels, as modifications will be given throughout.
