On Day one of the shoulder / neck pain solution series, we begin by strengthening muscles of the trunk and spine for improved spinal mobility. Having a strong and stable core is key, as we focus on flexion-based isometric exercises.
This is an equipment-free workout, using bodyweight only to perform many core exercises that are designed to create a strong foundation for shoulder and neck muscles.
This routine can be done anywhere, anytime. It can reduce fatigue after exercise, as a prevention from injury, and to help manage your muscle strength. This can also be used as a warm-up or as a workout in itself. Isometrics are the precursor to adding any load and challenge to our body.
