On day three of our 5 day Glute Challenge, we now have a better idea about where our weaknesses are and how to better contract the glutes during exercise. Today we are adding load to our muscles using weighted dumbbells.
This video begins with a brief bodyweight warm-up so that you can observe your available joint range. Next, experience strength-building variations of squatting and lunging exercises in standing using one or two dumbbells at a time. Modifications are given throughout.
As we move to the floor, use the weights in several floorwork exercises to sculpt and tone the glutes. Anytime you need to, dumbbells can also be eliminated!
