On the first day of the Back Pain Solution plan, we will work to strengthen core muscles and improve spinal stability using a series of rotation-based isometric exercises for the hip and spinal joints. Yoga blocks will be for resistance in a few of the exercises. As a substitute, a small pillow can be used.
Think of this as preparation to exercise! Remember that you are only as good as your core. One of the reasons many people suffer from back pain is that we sit way too much, causing weakness in the core. A weak core cannot support our limbs.
