I loved doing this video, since I am a teacher at heart. However, we will also be moving the whole time as we learn several movements that are available to the shoulder joint. Discover how to evaluate your mobility / range of motion you have from right to left from a sitting and standing position. Learn the various planes of motion at the shoulder and some helpful tips about the joint. Deficits in range of motion are often associated with pain and injuries to the joint or surrounding muscles, including the rotator cuff, and can limit one’s ability to complete many daily life tasks.
Once you are more aware of your mobility, we will use a TheraBand to perform several strengthening exercises. From flexion, to abduction, to extension and rotation, this short, comprehensive, therapeutic routine will improve the ability of these muscles to contract more efficiently. In turn, notice improved range of motion.
