Live Event | Compound Leg Workout with Dumbbells (60 minutes) with Lauren Eirk
Getting Stronger • 1h 7m
Compound lifts are any strengthening exercise where you’re using more than one muscle group at the same time. These exercises are efficient for building strength, since they work several areas at once. In this way you can get great strength benefits in a shorter period of time. The lower body exercises in this workout will allow you to lift heavy, by relying on more than one muscle group to work as you build muscle and progress. I will also be teaching you how to isolate specific muscles in each exercise in order to assist in muscle growth. The squats, lunges, and deadlift variations combined with many targeted, isolated exercises to round out the routine will give you a great workout!
Something to consider:
This workout introduces complex, compound exercises that require a lot of focus, burn more calories, and help get your heart rate up. They help to improve your coordination, often taking years to master. Listen to the little details in the cues given in this video to build muscle and avoid getting injured. Get more strength, tone, and stamina!
