This Better Back challenge is packed full of education, therapeutic exercise, and progressive challenge for a healthier back!
On Day One of the Better Back Challenge, learn about assessing your body to better align your workouts. You will need a chair on day one, as we learn to improve our range of motion while performing some of the most effective back therapy exercises today.
On Day Two of the Better Back Challenge, we will be using a small sponge ball with a chair to progress our exercises a bit from Day One with added resistance and exercise variations.
On Day Three of the Better Back Challenge, we will be taking what we have learned to the mat, practicing a back therapy Yoga routine for all levels using a yoga strap for resistance.
On Day Four of the Better Back Challenge, we will be expanding Day Three's practice to include effective Pilates Mat methodology with the Stability ball. See how the curves of the ball can greatly assist in back strengthening!
On Day Five of the Better Back Challenge, we are now ready for some load! We are using all the skills we have learned this week and adding even more challenges with (optional) 1-2 dumbbells used in many core and hip exercises to strengthen trunk and spine muscles.
