Iyengar was famous for his knee series in his book "Light on Yoga", but in this workout we will take a modern, therapeutic approach to knee therapy. Knees move differently than the hips, ankle, foot, and core. They can often become stressed when they take on stress from other joints. In this class we explore hip-knee-ankle alignment both mechanically and neurologically in order to balance muscle function, improve mobility, and increase strength. We will use a yoga block and yoga strap for added support.
