The goal of this workout is hypertrophy/growth of the muscles that move the shoulder and elbow joints. We will accomplish this with a high repetition routine using resistance that allows us to engage or "squeeze" our muscles for better contractions. Work the triceps, shoulders, and biceps muscle groups using dumbbells and a TheraBand. This is a much more challenging routine, as we move continuously from one exercise to the next in three sections: Dumbbell, TheraBand, Bodyweight.
Section 1:
Dumbbell Partial Overhead Press
Dumbbell Lateral Raise
DB Arnold Press
DB Front Raise
DB Sidelying Ext. Rotation
Section 2:
Band Seated Band Ext. Rotation
Band Rear Delt
Band Pull Apart Rear Deltoid
Band Standing Band Ext. Rotation
Band Front Raise
Band Bicep-Tricep
Section 3:
Prone Bodyweight Shoulder extension
Prone Bodyweight Shoulder flexion
