Celebrate the final day of the Core Challenge with a full body core-focused sliding session using gliding discs, paper plates, or a towel to create a low-impact, unstable surface. This is a fun and creative way to train your core with multi-joint stabilization. Feel free to have a chair close by if you need help with balance. You can control the resistance by how hard you push into the ground.
Here is a breakdown of the workout:
1. Isometric warm-up
2. Single leg rear lunge R/L
3. Alternating rear lunge
4. Hover Plank with hip flexion/ extension
5. Supine Bridge variations with heel slides
6. Plank to pike slides
7. Sumo stance hip abduction slide R/L
8. Pilates roll-down to plank
9. Hover-plank-pike combo
10. Gliding bird-dog variations
Upon completion of this series, you should notice improved range of motion, better posture, and more energy!
