In this express workout, we will explore some multi-joint compound exercises to load the upper extremities and core. Using a variety of motions and positions, the goal of this short workout is to boost bone growth by placing stress against the associated muscles that attach to them. By placing varied resistances against the joints, we can distribute mechanical stress strategically in order to protect joint surfaces. This is a great way to stay consistent, even if you are short on time.
We will use a chair and a pillow to create some different exercise positions as well as dumbbells to target the shoulders, chest, back and arms.
