Day one of the Ignite Challenge is designed to work the large muscles of the lower body and its associated trunk muscles that perform flexion movements. We will be focused on variations of squats, lunges, planks, and crunches using bodyweight and dumbbells.
Experience concentric and eccentric muscle contractions plus isometric holds against dumbbells with high repetitions to build muscle. We will be going back and forth between lower body and core exercises so that you can move at a continual pace. It is recommended that you have light and heavier dumbbells for various exercises.
