Day eight of the ISO-Band Program is marked with integrated isometric training to target the muscles that perform extension in the hips and spine. All of the positions that we will practice in this video center around the sagittal plane.
Begin with some standing hip extension with the band. Squatting with external rotation first, we will then move into some single leg balance work to train the glutes and lateral spine. We will then move to all 4's for some kneeling, then fully prone exercises to target hamstrings and outer hips.
As we focus on glute isolation, we will perform with isometric work in bridge position. followed by some fully supine isometrics into the ground.
