This class will focus on resistance training which is targeted at increasing muscle mass and improving muscle rate of contraction. After a core-focused warm-up, we will perform intervals of dumbbell exercises and bodyweight exercises.
Experience upper body, lower body, and core work. The dumbbell exercises will be done for several sets of 12-15 repetitions. A complementary bodyweight exercise will be done with higher reps and movement cadences so that the muscle needs to contract 15-30 reps with cadence changes.
You will need a barre, chair, or some kind of support for single leg balance exercises. This class will add muscle and burn fat! All levels welcome
