Live Event | Full Body Pyramid Workout (60 minutes) with Lauren Eirk
Getting Stronger • 1h 8m
Research suggests that pyramid training may help increase muscle size and enhance muscular endurance and power. Although it is not necessarily more effective than other forms of resistance training, the goal of this workout is to boost muscle response and improve strength.
This pyramid training workout is designed to overload your muscles to create metabolic stress in muscle tissue that encourages growth. We will be performing three pyramid schemes. Make sure to have at least two different sizes of dumbbells. Bodyweight can be used as well.
We will start light and gradually increase the weight and reps.
This workout will consist of three sets of each. I will be using 10, 15, 20lbs for my lower body. I will use 8, 10, and 12 lbs for my upper body.
Lower Body: Front Squats, lunges, RDL, Bridges
Upper Body: Chest Press, Row, Front Raise, Bicep Curl, Skull Crusher
We will finish with some core exercises.
