The latissimus dorsi muscle is a broad, flat muscle that occupies the majority of the lower back. They are massively important for shoulder and spinal stability. Keeping them strong is paramount, and in this video, we will go through several dumbbell exercises that help to strengthen this region.
After a brief warm-up, we will move into some bodyweight, lat-targeted calisthenics. Next, experience some supine pullovers and standing rows that will be modified to put direct load on this muscle group in only 15 minutes time. A chair will be used in some of that standing exercises for back support
