Video 302 | Isometric Shoulder Boost (15 Minute Routine) with Lauren Eirk
Upper Back and Neck Pain
•
07-Mar-2022
If you need a quick boost, this 15-minute bodyweight workout will help strengthen muscles that depress the shoulder to keep tension out of your neck and help you raise your arms overhead more efficiently using a Yoga strap and mini ball. Weakness in these areas can cause shoulder impingement, making it challenging to even rotate the neck from side to side.
This routine can be done anywhere, anytime. It can reduce fatigue after exercise, as a prevention from injury, and to help manage your muscle strength. This can also be used as a warm-up or as a workout in itself. Isometrics are the precursor to adding any load and challenge to our body.
