Prehabilitation is the practice of keeping our joints healthy as preventative maintenance. It requires a constant revision of basic principles, patience, consistency, and practice.
This bodyweight routine uses bodyweight, the floor, the wall, and the TheraBand to create essential mobility and stability exercises to address various joint ranges of the upper back and shoulders. By regularly engaging these muscles and moving the joints in a variety of positions, learn how to "check in" with your body and address muscle weaknesses as they come instead of waiting until something breaks.
This routine can be used as a warm-up, a prehabilitation routine before surgery, a rehabilitation routine to heal an injury, or a workout in itself for maintenance.
