On the sixth day of the Back Pain Solution plan, enjoy some gentle movement. So far, we have been focusing on squeezing our muscles in isometric contractions, with single joint and multiple joint positions. Now that you have had a change to practice observing your available range of motion, we are ready to move with increased control.
In this video, learn eight multi-joint exercises that can bring about a tremendous amount of relief in the body. A small mini ball will be used for resistance in some of the exercises. If you do not have a sponge ball, use a small pillow for support.
As we move from one exercise to the next, these movements will get your hip and trunk muscles firing again. Take your time and follow the cues for pain relief!
